Empty folder-folder

Hi

I've accidentially moved my inbox folder into another folder (Verteiler.nextcloud), in my MUA. I can't reproduce what happened next, but I ended up having my INBOX back, and an empty folder Verteiler.nextcloud.INBOX. The latter is completely empty, only the "." and ".." entries are there. 

This might be the result of a bug.

Now: Is it safe to remove the empty folder in question?
