Bayern – eine Kontroverse, die letzten Endes durch einen
Volksentscheid zu einem guten Ende gebracht werden konnte.
Auch auf kommunaler Ebene sei die direkte Demokratie in Bayern
eine Erfolgsgeschichte. Sein Fazit: „Mit einer starken
Demokratie haben wir in Bayern nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht!

Theo Schiller von der Universität Marburg eine Übersicht über
die Regeln der direkten Demokratie in den deutschen
Bundesländern. „Jedes Bundesland hat andere Regeln. Leider hat
Hessen die weitaus schlechtesten in ganz Deutschland, nachdem
kürzlich das Saarland und Baden-Württemberg Reformen
durchführten. Ein Knackpunkt hierzulande ist dabei die hohe
Unterschriftenzahl für Volksbegehren von 20 % aller
Wahlberechtigten, die verhindert, dass es in Hessen jemals zu
einem Volksentscheid kam oder kommt“, so das Fazit des
