bereits fünfte Volksentscheidsranking des Vereins Mehr
Demokratie zeigt die Reformbedürftigkeit der hessischen
Volksgesetzgebung deutlich auf. Durch die bundesweit
höchsten Hürden steht Hessen neben dem Saarland bei der
Bewertung von Volksbegehren und Volksentscheid im Ranking an
letzter Stelle. Nach dem unter anderem Baden-Württemberg
seine Regelungen deutlich bürgerfreundlicher gestaltete,
geht es für Hessen im Vergleich zum Ranking von 2013 bergab.
„Nach wie vor steht der Praxis ein nahezu unerreichbares
Unterschriftenquorum von 20% im Weg“, kritisiert Matthias
