<p>Das Thema Big Data gewinnt in Unternehmens- und Rundfunkarchiven stark an Bedeutung. Dort müssen umfangreiche Mengen an audiovisuellen Inhalten erschlossen werden, um diese einer weiteren, auch kommerziellen Nutzung zuzuführen. Auch das öffentliche Interesse
an den archivierten Schätzen wächst und damit geht die Forderung nach öffentlichem Zugang zu bisher geschlossenen Archiven einher. Diese Anforderungen stellen Archive vor immer neue Herausforderungen – das Recherchieren und Identifizieren von relevanten Inhalten
ist eine davon. Nicht jede Sendung, jedes Tondokument oder gar jede Videoaufnahme kann eingehend auf Segmentebene annotiert und mit Schlagworten versehen werden, die auch neuen, noch nicht vorhersehbaren Recherchezwecken dienen können.</p>

<p>Die Schulung richtet sich vorrangig an Abteilungs- und Projektleiter mit Zugang zu audiovisuellen Archiven. Sie erhalten einen Überblick über die Möglichkeiten der Multimedia-Analyse zur Erschließung von unstrukturierten audiovisuellen Inhalten und einen
vertiefenden Einblick in verschiedene Verfahren: </p>
